CREWING POLICY


      Each crew member, serving on company`s ships must be well educated, trained and certified in compliance with STWC Convention. Medical examination must be conducted in accordance with ILO Guidelines for conducting Pre-sea and Periodic Medical Examinations for Seafarers as recommended by IMO. Contracting crewing agency, which provides crewing service must be certified accordingly and should have a good reputation in maritime society. Every newly employed officer must be interviewed by company`s managers to ensure suitability of candidate for starting the service in company. Newly employed seafarers must receive ship description prior to joining the ship. Records and references about previous performance of candidate should be requested. Young seamen – cadets and just graduated from Maritime Colleges are welcomed to grow together with company and build a strong and reliable team.

      Each ship must be manned in accordance with Safe Manning Certificate.

      Any physical, social or mental abuse, whether caused by discrimination on the basis of race, color, religious affiliation or gender, or simply because one person takes a dislike to another and pursues that dislike actively and in manner which causes distress to the other person, must be strongly exterminated in beginning and is not acceptable under any circumstances.

      Every crew member must report to master about any unconformity found on board regarding to standards of safety, protection of environment, low level of maintenance or poor condition of any equipment or any other.

      Every crew member before starting the service should sign for familiarization with Safe Working Practice manual; Job Description and Drug and Alcohol policy Acknowledgment(F-CR-5).

      Company makes quality audit in contracting crewing agency office annually.
